Ros lives in Pontypridd in South Wales with her husband, two teenagers and two beagles. She is a ceramicist who specialises in pieces thrown on the wheel and decorated with colourful and unusual glazing combinations.
Having completed her BA Hons degree in Art, with a focus on ceramics, it would be nearly 20 years before she started working with clay again.
Each piece is made over three days and takes three weeks to complete to the final glazed piece, they are fired in the kiln twice to turn them into these functional and beautiful pieces.
Because of the handmade nature and glazing processes that Ros uses every piece is completely unique, even though she makes them in matching sets every piece is different and individual meaning that when you purchase her work you’re buying a bespoke piece of functional art.
